Reconstruction Of NW/SW: Stake Holders Disagree With National Coordinator.

By Raymond Dingana Some stake holders in the plan to reconstruct and development the embittered North West and South West Regions of Cameroon have disagreed on whether reconstruction and development should come before peace of the other way round. During his five -day visit to the NWR that was aimed at creating awareness and sensitizing the beneficiaries of the Plan, the National Coordinator of the PPRD, Minister Tasong Paul said, reconstruction and development can go on without a complete return to peace. "We are aware of the disbelief of many and the bad faith of others. A question has been address to me many times to know if we can rebuild when peace has not yet fully returned. As I said in each occasion; as I will say tomorrow; I'm saying now that, the answer is a big yes. By Raymond Dingana The necessity for the return of peace for meaningful development to take place was again spotlighted in what has now come to be known as "the Bamenda Declaration of June 26,2020". According to the document that was read by Mr.Ndzerem Stephen Njodzeka of SHUMAS,   the exchanges went beyond reconstruction and development as the participants saw the need for the return of peace to the region so that meaningful development can take place, the reconciliation of all sons and daughters of the region so that they can pull all our resources together and rebuild what the declaration described as the once beautiful, prosperous North West Region. The restoration of social cohesion, the provision of livelihood for the jobless, the restoration of human dignity ,through sensitization, change of mind set, of the entire population of the region were also highlighted. Rebuilding NW/SW: PPRD Will Not Wait For Killings To End-Tasong.

By Raymond Dingana   The National Coordinator of the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development for the NW/SW Regions says, the plan cannot wait for killings and sufferings to end before taking off. Tasong Paul was speaking during a question and answer session with the Press, Friday June 26, 2020 on the last day of his five-day visit to Bamenda. Quizzed on whether it wouldn't have been better for the PPRD to wait for the killings and destruction in the NW/SW to stop in order that, beneficiaries don't continue to die while reconstruction is going on, He said:  "if the presidential plan has to wait for death and suffering to stop, then the presidential plan should better not exist. Anglophone Crisis: Kidnappers In NW/SW Given 30 Day Ultimatum To Quit.

By Raymond Dingana The imprisoned leaders of what has come to be known as the Coffin Revolution have given a 30 Day ultimatum to kidnappers and other criminals hiding under the Anglophone crisis  to quit or face the consequences. T hey have been given 30 days to reconsider their actions, turn away from their evil ways and embrace profitable activities to better their lives. Failure to do so, the release says they will all be identified and defeated.   In a Press Release signed recently by Mancho Bibixy Tse and Ngalim Felix Safe, describing them as  persons with no political agenda under two different groups namely; bandits who have been around even before the start of the crisis in 2016 and  groups set up and sponsored by politicians to weakened what the release calls a political struggle by genuine freedom fighters.
