Atanga Nji Says Calls For Separatists To Drop Weapons Bearing Fruits

 By Raymond Dingana The minister of Territorial Administration has saluted the fruitfulness of what he describes as  President Paul Biya's call for separatist fighters to drop their weapons and abandon the bushes. He pointed out that,many separatist fighters have continued to lay down their weapons and are having a new life at the Centre for Disarmament,Dimobilization and Reintegration-DDR. He also indicated that, five separatist fighters handed their weapons to a village head at about 10:30pm on monday. The identity and  name of the village were never disclosed.  " The fighters handed their weapons to their fon at about 10:30 Pm on the night of Monday after the security meeting we had. The weapons are very dangerous and have been used to terrorise the villagers. They will be taking to the DDR Centre where they will be taken care of."  MINAT boss said. The training was done recently under the patronage of the publisher, Kristian Ngah in the context of the ongoing armed conflict rocking the two English speaking regions of Cameroon hosting the majority of its readers. Sources say,she and her fiance' were traveling to Douala to shop for their upcoming wedding that was supposed to take place on the 15 and16 of January. Bamenda:Nigerian Union President Opens Up After Life-Threatening Attack

By Raymond Dingana The President of the Nigerian Union in Bamenda, Prince Otobong Ituen has said he has put last month’s attempt on his life behind him and forgiven his attackers. Prince Otobong Ituen is just recovering from his hospital bed after he was attacked on November 18 by unidentified armed men. Recalling the incident recently during a thanksgiving service at the Church of Christ in Bamenda, Prince Otobong said he was saved thanks to the grace of God. This gesture of theirs revealed to the population that, no matter their disability, they can practically exhibit any activity they so desire to do with the potentials and skills they have. By Raymond Dingana Some school children in Bamenda were traumatized in the early hours of Thursday when uniform officers forced them down from a bike at gun point and asked them to trek to school. The children were with their father on a commercial bike when they were intercepted at Sonac Street. Talking to drayinfos,the father to the kids who asked to be identified only as Frank said,he tried in vain to explain: "I did all for the officers to understand that, i was only accompanying my kids to school. I was ignored but their guns were still pointed at my children.
