By Raymond Dingana The Mayor of the Tubah Council, Tanjong Martin has invited transporters taking persons to that council area to contribute their own little quarter to the development of the municipality. Mayor Tanjong was speaking recently in Bambili during the Council's Administrative and Management Account Session of the Council. We resolved during a meeting with collaborator and transporters trade unions that they will start paying 250frs per day to help develop the municipality. This is because the taxis are registered in Bamenda City and are plying Tubah, Mayor Tanjong said. He also explained that the transportaters were to be paying the 250FCFA per trip but they decided in the meeting that the payment should be per day.
