Bamenda II Mayor Peter Chenwi urged the people of Ntamulung in the Bamenda II Municipality to trust President Paul Biya and vote for him on October 12, 2025.

At a campaign rally in the Bamenda II conference hall, Mayor Chenwi, who is also the Vice President of the Mezam I B CPDM Section Campaign Committee, emphasized that not voting for Biya would be a big mistake.

"It’s clear that we have one leader, Paul Biya. He is practical, and we know his mission and vision because we’ve seen and tested him,"

 said Chenwi.

He continued,

"We no longer vote for people we don’t know. Paul Biya has the wisdom and conscience to lead us. He is the only president we recognize."

Chenwi stated that they can only vote for someone they know and can see the results of their work, and that person is Paul Biya.

"So on Sunday, Ntamulung and all of Bamenda II will vote for Paul Biya. A vote for Biya is a vote for development and peace."

Anye Cletus Matoya, President of the CPDM Mezam I B Section, added that efforts to encourage voters to make the right choice on October 12 have increased.

"We are urging people to come out in large numbers, select our white ballot paper, and give President Paul Biya another 7-year mandate. We encourage them to take action this Sunday,"

Matoya said.
