Nkumu Fed Fed Members With DO Of Bali  By Raymond Dingana Nkumu Fed Fed, a gender-based non governmental organization, has empowered over 50 women's groups with financial assistance totaling 500,000 francs each. This support was announced during the Nkumu Fed Fed Jamboree held at the Gwan Multipurpose Center (GMC) on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. The groups had previously registered and received training in various economic activities at the GMC. The aim of this initiative is to enable women to start collective businesses, allowing them to provide for their families and meet their needs. Bamenda Station Road Needs Stringent Safety Measures After Tree Saves 70+ Lives

The Accident Scene At Up Station  By Raymond Dingana  Passengers of a 70 seater bus that left Bamenda on the evening of Thursday, April 24, 2025, will forever be grateful to a tree that saved their lives along Station Road. The bus, operated by a Bamenda based transport agency, was prevented from plunging off the steep hill thanks to a one of the eucalyptus tree planted beside the road. As the vehicle ascended Station Hill, it suffered a breakdown and began to roll backward. Miraculously, one of the trees along that stretch stopped the bus from tumbling down the cliff. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident. Editorial Comment What transpired on Station Hill that night serves as a stark warning to the authorities in Bamenda that they must take intentional steps to ensure the safety of the population. He has been using the expertise passed down from his ancestors to treat individuals with bone issues. Many have benefited from his services at little to no cost, as he is not supposed to charge patients, following the tradition of those before him. This training took place during their monthly gathering held at the Human Rights Commission's Office on Friday, April 4, 2025.
