At a large rally to kick off the campaign for the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM), Sunday Oct. 4, Okie Johnson Ndoh, General Manager (GM) of the Hydrocarbon Prices Stabilization Fund (CSPH), urged the people of Nguti's 54 villages in the Kupe Muanenguba Division to re-elect President Paul Biya.

Okie Johnson, who leads the Nguti campaign team, stated that Saturday's rally is part of ongoing efforts to secure a strong victory for President Biya.

"Nguti has been getting ready for this election for a while. Two months ago, we organized a sports tournament involving all 12 clans of Nguti, with the main message being to support the CPDM and vote for President Biya,"

he said.

He added that the CPDM campaign team is prepared to continue their door-to-door efforts to gather all 10,000 votes in the area for the president.

"The groundwork has already been laid, and we are here to solidify that victory. The clan leaders will keep campaigning door-to-door to secure all 10,000 votes for our champion, President Biya,"

Okie said.

Ajang Evaristus, the CPDM section president for Kupe Muanenguba II, emphasized that the event showed that President Biya is the only choice for Nguti.

"This ceremony went very well. It's part of the ongoing efforts we've been making. We know about this election and have been active in the community; the message is clear: all of Kupe Muanenguba supports President Biya,"

 he said.

Also at the rally was Prof. Elvis Ngolle Ngolle, head of the CPDM campaign team for Kupe Muanenguba, who promised that all 10,000 votes in Nguti would go to President Biya.

"There are 10,000 votes at stake in Nguti, and those votes are for our champion, President Biya,"

 he stated.

He added,

"Many development projects have come to Nguti, and many more are on the way. With this assurance, we know President Biya will receive 120% of the votes in Nguti."

The rally drew thousands of supporters of the ruling party, all pledging to vote for President Biya on October 12, 2025. Officials noted that while the CPDM is strong in Kupe Muanenguba and the South West Region, they wanted to ensure support ahead of this important presidential election.
