Hon. Musa addressed the crowd, blending hope with a stern warning:
"I have received credible reports that political opponents are sponsoring non-state armed groups to blockade roads and prevent my access to the constituency. This is a deliberate attempt to destabilize the peace we have tirelessly built."
He celebrated the spirit of unity, saying,
"Today, we celebrate the spirit of togetherness that has seen us through our darkest hours. You are the future of this land. This is when wolves come dressed in sheep's clothing."
Musa cautioned against political opportunism:
"When our communities were on fire, where were these political parties? Do not let your resilience be corrupted by their empty slogans."
He acknowledged the ongoing hardships from past crises but reassured the crowd:
"Not long from now, peace will fully regain its steam."
He highlighted developmental efforts, promising improvements in electricity and road conditions.
The tournament concluded with thrilling matches: Nasara FC won the men's football final, Mile 27 Girls triumphed in handball, and TUSVDC claimed victory in volleyball.
This event, part of a larger strategy to foster unity, followed a similar tournament in Babessi, reinforcing the community's commitment to peace and development.
As the sun set, the echoes of celebration filled the air, symbolizing a community united in purpose, ready to stand against division and strive for a brighter future.
