Bamenda II D O Promises Repressive Measures On Recalcitrant Drivers.

By Raymond Dingana The Divisional Officer for Bamenda II, Tanyi Akwo Roquecegnol has promised tougher days ahead for those who go against the measures put in place by government and the World Health Organization as far as limiting the spread of COVID-19 is concerned. The D O frowned at cab drivers whom he said still over load their vehicles there by disrespecting social distancing, a measure to lessen the spread of COVID-19. He said repressive measures will henceforth be accelerated on those who fail to respect the measures. Covid-19 Scare: CAMASEJ NW Furnishes Members With Hand Sanitizers.

By Raymond Dingana The Cameroon Association of English Speaking Journalist-CAMASEJ has distributed to her members a liter of hand sanitizer each to permit them stay safe as they go about with their job of informing the population. The liters of hand sanitizer were handed over to closed to fifty members of the association during its monthly come together that took place in Nkwen, Friday April 10, 2020. While handing over the litters of hand sanitizers, North West Chapter President of CAMASEJ, Ambe MacMillan said the hand sanitizers were made available thanks to a joined effort of CAMASEJ and the Regional Delegation of Public Health for the North West. He furthered that, CAMASEJ benefited from a 25% discount offered to them by the NW Regional Delegation of Public Health. He added that, the hand sanitizers are not just for the journalists, inviting them to share with others. Mr .Afu Stephen was speaking Wednesday March 18, 2020 during a press briefing that held at the conference room of the North West Regional Delegation of Labor and social security. “It is saddening to note that some of the PEA teachers have been working without salaries while others just try to keep their work places afloat . By Raymond Dingana The Nigerian union President in Bamenda, Prince Otobong Ituen has appealed to both the presidents of Cameroon and Nigeria to come to the aid of victims of what is now known as Women’s Day bomb attack in Bamenda, chief town of the NWR of Cameroon. He was speaking to DrayInfos Tuesday March 10, 2020 at the secretariat of the Nigerian union in Bamenda. By Raymond Dingana Tougher days lie ahead of commercial biker riders who after enjoying a Ten Months period of grace for them to abide by the rules and regulations governing their sector, have still not been able to do so. During a security meeting   that took place at the NW Governor's office, chaired by Territorial Administration Minister,  it was disclosed that, from Tuesday March 17, 2020, commercial bikers still to   undergo the registration process will not be allow to embark on their day to day activities in Bamenda. “   As from Tuesday March 17, 2020, those whose bikes have not been identified and registered will not be allowed to exercise their duties as transporters. We gave them six months to start the identification process, the syndicates pleaded that we give them nine months which was given.
