Head Of Bamendankwe Integrated Health Center Found Dead In Office

By Raymond Dingana Shock and consternation is still the order of the day in Bamendankwe village of the North West Region of Cameroon following the death of the Chief Of Center for the Bamendankwe Intergrated Health Center, Anye Philemon. Sources on the ground say, his liveless body was discovered lying on the floor of his office in the evening hours of Saturday July 24,2021.   The Deceased Medical Practioner, Anye Philemon Suspecting he might have died of Covid-19, some tests were conducted but the results came out negative, Takwi, a native of Bamendankwe told Drayinfos. Government, Separatist Ban On Transportation, Who Suffers More?

Ministry Of Justice Rejects Furniture Donated By Sen. Kemende

By Raymond Dingana The one hundred chairs and ten tables offered by Senator Barrister Kemende to the Judicial family in the North West Region of Cameroon have been rejected. The funiture that were to be handed over to the Courts in the month of April 2021 have not yet been received by the Ministry of Justice on grounds that, they are not necessary. Talking to the press on Sunday July 18, 2021, San. Kemende said, he proposed Wednesday 20 of April 2021 or Friday 30 April, 2021 for the handing over of the items to the Cameroonian Judiciary in the region but till date, the items are still to be handed. Bamenda: City Mayor Announces Efforts To Prevent Fire Disasters In Markets

By Raymond Dingana One of Bamenda City's Market on fire months back The City Mayor of Bamenda, Paul Achobong has announced plans to transform shops at the Bamenda Main Market as a means to prevent fire incidents witnessed in recent months.  Traders in various markets in town have suffered huge damages as a result of fire out breaks. The situation is compounded by the fact that most of the shops are built with makeshift material like wood while the electrical connections leave much to be desired. Swine Fever: North West Governor Bans Transportation Of Pigs

By Raymond Dingana Following the outbreak of Swine Fever in the North West Region of Cameroon, the Governor has placed a ban on the transportation of pigs and pig's products in Mezam and Momo Divisions till further notice. The Order Banning The Transportation Of Pigs And Pig's Products This is contained in a Regional Order signed Friday July 9, 2021 by NW Governor, LeLe Lafrique Tchoffo Deben Adolphe. The order takes effect from the date of signature. The swine fever which is ongoing has caused the death of many pigs. Shwine Fever Sweeping Pigs Away Pork has also witnessed a drop in its prices thereby increasing the rate at which it is consumed. I Will Not Take Instructions From Anybody-NW Independent Conciliator

By Raymond Dingana The Independent Conciliator for the North West Region, Mr. Simon Tamfu Fai says, as an Independent Conciliator, he will not take instructions from anybody and will not dish out any to anyone. He was speaking Thursday July 08, 2021 after taking an Oath of Office at the Bamenda Appeals Court. "I will do my job independently in the sense that, i have no instructions to take  from anybody, i don't give instructions to people and I don't take from them," he said adding that, "I take advice, I listen and we can solve these problems amicably because the court systems are very expensive and our people are very poor, so we want to solve our problems amicably." Bamenda Main Market President Decries Attacks On His Executive

By Raymond Dingana The President of the Bamenda Main Market, Mr Leonard Mbeh has frowned at those he says are trying to attack his image and that of members of his gevernment. He was speaking to a multitude of traders who turned out to listen to him on what he said was an act of putting his life and those of his executive members in danger. The President made the outing Thursday July 8, 2021 following a message that was broadcast on the 'Ambazonia Broadcasting Corporation ABC,' on Tuesday 6th of July 2021. The message accused him of coniving with the Mayor of the Bamenda City Council, Paul Achobong to seize shops in the market and hand them over to Bamelike people. Mr Mbeh described the accusation as malicious and unfounded and called on those whom he said must have taken such information to the ABC TV, to withdraw it and apologize to God. He explained to the vendors that the city council had as plan to demolish all the kiosks in the market and to replace them with modern ones.

Bamenda: Population Parades Streets With Body Of Man Killed

By Raymond Dingana The population of Bamenda has paraded the major streets of Nkwen with the body of one Mr.Djibril Dubila shot and killed on Sunday July 4th, 2021 around the security check point at Below Foncha. They could be heard shouting "military must go, them go kill we tire" . They carried peace and other green plants as they marched through Foncha Street, Mile II, then Ndamukong Street and back to where he was shot at Below Foncha. Bafut D.O Bans Check Point, Reminds Officers Of Their Job Description

The Divisional Officer for Bafut Sub Division, Diobe Elumba Didacus Elumba has banned what he describes as an illegal check point mounted infront of his office by the forces of law and order. He says, the job description of the uniform officers there is limited exclusively to securing the D.O's premises. According to a Prefectoral decision signed Thursday July 01, 2021, the decision banning the check point was arrived at after a series of complaints from the population notable road users about harrassements, assults and extortion by the forces of law and order taking guard at the sub Divisional Office in Bafut. The order further states that, neither police nor gendarmerie check point has been created around the visinity of the DO's office. The uniform officers were also warned against contravening the decision and that, the heavy hands of the law will not spare them.
