Curiosity as to what pillows are stuffed with has pushed curious users to uncover the mystery. While some just buy and start using without trying to find out what is inside, many say they have taken time off to check the content after feeling uncomfortable using them. Many say they were forced in to uncovering what their pillows are made of because rather than being soft and comfortable, the pillows were like wood which to them was not supposed to be like that. Others said, they were too soft for their liking making them not to feel the comfort of the pillows. By Raymond Dingana A man resident in Bamenda who bought pillows at the back market neighborhood has removed old under wears, breast wears and many others from them. In a video which we have not been able to independently confirm its veracity that has gone viral, the man is seen removing the items from the pillows expressing shock and disbelief. "I slept on the pillow but could not understand what was happening.i decided to open only to discover underwears, breast wears and other pieces of cloths which may been swept from a tailoring workshop. I just want you people to see what we buy so that we can be careful," the voice in the video indicated. Breast Wears, Pillow , Pieces Of Cloth Used In Producing Pillows. Worthy of not is the fact that, back market area in Bamenda is noted for smart traders who will not spare any opportunity to play a fast one on buyers.  Many have complained how the pay for items especially dresses but discovered something else when they got home.

Armed Conflict In NW/SW: Improvised Explosive Hits Police Van In Bali

Suspected Separatist fighters in Bali Nyonga have hit a police anti terrorist van at mile 84 on the Banenda- Bali highway.  The vehicle was hit by an improvised explosives device,IED planted by the fighters in the early hours of Tuesday April 27,2021. It is not clear if there were casualties or not. Those who used that stretch of the road Tuesday morning said ,they saw the damaged police vehicle after the incident. The use of IEDs is gradually gaining grounds in the ongoing armed conflict rocking the restive north west and south west regions of Cameroon. Many have raised concerns that, civilains who are non combattants may also b affected by these explosives as it has been the case on many occasions, reason why the strategy has always come under fire from the population. By Raymond Dingana A man is currently undergoing treatment in a health facility in Bamenda, the headquarters of Cameroon’s conflict-hit North West region following ‘deep’ knife wounds reported inflicted on him by soldiers dispatched to the region to maintain law and order.  The condemnable incident is said to have occurred Saturday 24 April 2021 at the Mile 90 neighborhood, a locality on the outskirts of Bamenda along the highway leading to Bali. Mile has been a separatist hotspots since ongoing Anglophone crisis morphed into a full-fledged armed conflict.   As indicated by a source who opted for anonymity, the gory scene unfolded when the victim was stopped on board a motorbike that was transporting him to Bamenda. The use of improvised explosives is the order of the day. Armed men have recorded and dropped online, videos of them blowing off military vehicles followed by heavy gun shots. By Raymond Dingana Newly installed executive members of the Circle of The Actors and Promoters of Youth Football in the North West Region have been challenged to work hand in gloves with the regional bureau of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT in their drive to foster youth football in the region. The call was made by the National President of Youth Football League, Mr. Dabo Hamadou This was during a ceremony to commission the new executive into their functions at the FECAFOOT conference room Saturday April 24, 2021. He challenged the regional football actors and promoters with Mr. Yoye Blaise at the head to collaborate with FECAFOOT before channeling their problems to the national office. Dabo explained that the executive is out to defend the interest of youth football, assist leaders of the league, and ensure the evolution of young players among others.

Military Vehicle Knocks Down Two Persons In Bamenda

By Rosaline Obah Inhabitants of Bamenda,Regional Capital of the restive North West Region of Cameroon are still in shock and consternation following an accident involving a vehicle belonging to the National Gendarmerie and a commercial motorcycle.  The incident occurred on Sunday 25 April 2021 at Ngengs Junction,a neighborhood in Bamenda. The bike is said to have been transporting a woman. Witnesses at the scene said, the woman went unconscious while the biker sustained injuries. An eye witness narrated what he saw: The gendarmerie vehicle was on top speed. A bike saw it and pulled over while the motor bike carrying the woman was hit and and twisted to beyond repairs,  narrated our source who opted to be anonymous. By Raymond Dingana The population of Mezam Division of the North West Region of Cameroon have expressed disatisfaction on government's handling of the Anglophone Crisis. This was made known during a workshop to present the result of a research on the impact of  the Anglopone Crisis on the North West Population, Saturday April 24, 2021 in Bamenda. Going by the survey conducted by Charmers Media and Communication Consults (CHAMECC) in Mezam Devision, 96 percent of the population expressed disatiafaction with government's handling of the current war ravaging the north west and south west regions of the country.   By Raymond Dingana Lives Lost As Gun Men Open Fire On A Drinking Spot In Bamenda Shock and consternation has gripped the population of mile 90 Nsongwa following the shooting to death of about five persons in a drinking spot by armed med.Many others were wounded in the incident that happened at about 10pm on Sunday breaking Monday. 'General Dada' as he was commonly called socumed to the barrel of the gun in Guneku village at about 4:am breaking Friday April 16,2021. Humanitarian Response: SHUMAS Assists Schools In Bamenda

  By Raymond Dingana The Strategic Humanitarian Services-SHUMAS Cameroon has extended a hand of fellowship to three Catholic schools in Bamenda. The covid -19 Pandemic that has dealt a heavy blow to schools, the lack of Science Laboratories in some secondary schools  among others pushed the director of SHUMAS, Mr. Ndzerem Stephen to embark on a humanitarian journey to assist the schools.   At the ,St.John  Catholic School  at Foncha street,fifty benches were handed over to the school. As stated by the mananger of the school,Rev. Fr.Afumbom Gabriel,the coming of the Corona virus Pandemic and the respect of physical distance was a great problem to the school. "The kids were crowded in the few class rooms that had benches because the others were void of benches.This was hard on is because physical distance, a barrier measure agant covid-19 was not being respected.We turned to SHUMAS and in less than no time,fifty benches were provided.
