2nd Deputy  Mayor Of Bamenda City Council, Afung Lucas Ngu After Vote Counts In Mezam By Raymond Dingana The political ideology that has been in the market of political ideas put there by the Social Democratic Front, SDF has continued to act as a magnetic force pulling members of other political parties in Cameroon.  This was seen during the voting exercise of the Senatorial Elections of March 12,2023 when the SDF got more than the number of votes that they were expecting. With 28 councillors out of the more than 1000 Regional and Municipal councillors in the North West Region of Cameroon, many thought the party was going to have 28 votes or even less. It however came to pass that some councillors of the ruling Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement, CPDM voted the SDF taking the number to 40 ballots cast for the SDF.  This explains why the First Deputy Mayor of the Bamenda City Council, Afung Lucas Ngu says it was a great victory for the SDF, The language is clear.   Archived Picture : SDF Laughing Campaigns In Bamenda By Raymond Dingana Some supporters of the Social Democratic Front, SDF say concillors of the Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement, CPDM should not commit what they describe as voluntary suicide by voting for the CPDM.  The supporters say taking in to consideration  the level of hardship Cameroonians are going through because of "bad laws" initiated by the CPDM, trusting in the party is nothing but voluntary suicide.  Talking to drayinfos.com, an SDF party supporter who voted to be addressed only as Pa Kum said it is unbelievable to see people who still believe in the CPDM despit e all the pain they are going through.  Look at how difficult life has become. Speaking to drayinfos, a candidate of the SDF who spoke to us on basis of anonymity said they have not been able to campaign to the councillors who are incharge of voting senators because the CPDM out of fear has caged them in hotels around Bamenda and other Divisional head quarters of the region. Political campaigns are not going on smoothly because the CPDM has gathered  councillors and caged them in hotels. The health crusade which targated the population of Old Town-Bamenda and it's environs was made possible by Ntambag Brothers CIG and  Old Town For American (OTFA), a group of former residents of Old Town Bamenda now in the United States of America. Joe Chebonkeng Kalabubse said journalists allowing themselves to be used by politicians will only find themselves in a trash cane after they must have been dumped there by thesame politicians who used them as intruments.
