A New Dawn For Menchum Journalists As Cham Victor Is Elected Union President

The publisher of Municipal Update and the Chronicle Times Newspapers, Cham Victor Bama has announced a new down for the Menchum Journalists' Union (MEJU).

He said one of his focus will be to promote effective Communication at grassroot level to enhance Peace, Justice and Development.

Cham Victor was speaking shortly after his election as the new president of MEJU last Friday November 18 2021 in Yaounde, political capital of Cameroon.

"It is a new down for journalists of Menchum extraction.Transforming mindsets through effective rural communication is the best way out. The population needs accurate information from us journalists," Cham said.
He furthered that,
we shall promote unity among members, unite Menchum journalists, promote local development, preach community peace and enhance education among others," Cham said.
He further explained that they will use peaceful instruments to unite and build peace within the communities of Menchum and beyond.

" We have to build our capacities on how to go about trying to transform and construct the mindset of those who have been derailed or perhaps having differences at home, school among others.
Cham indicated.

It should be burn in mind that, the Menchum Journalists' Union was created in 2015 to bring together Journalists from Menchum, North West Region of Cameroon.

It is for members of Menchum extraction who have worked, practiced, or have lived in Menchum for one reason or another
