Elite Two Championship: Foncha Street FC Washes Own Fish In Water

Foncha Street FC of Bamenda has once again failed to impress fans and supporters as they lost in day two of the Elite Two Championship.

The team bowed to AS Laussane 1-3 after taking the lead during the first half of the game at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Omnisport Annex Stadium in Yaounde, Sunday 10 April 2022.

Foncha Street FC opened scores thanks to a rocket shot from Kenneth Edit, former player of PWD of Bamenda beating the goal keeper of AS Laussane thereby putting Foncha Street ahead.

The celebrations were short lift as three replies from AS Laussane put them ahead while the visiting side, Foncha Street tried in vain to get back in to the game.

At the blast of the final whistle, it was Foncha FC that was stunned at the way things suddenly turned against them, while total celebrations erupted in the camp of AS Laussane.

Losing a match they were in total control of before the break has caused some fans to say,
Foncha Street FC Caught a fish, instead of keeping it jealously, they to the river to wash it and it went away, Agustine,
a disappointed fan of the team said after the match.

Foncha Street FC is yet to record a point after playing two matches in the Elite Two Championship.

There were beaten by 0-1 by Dynamo FC at the Japoma Annex Stadium in Douala, April 7,2022.
