Municipal Councilors In Cameroon Going Nowhere still January 29, 2020

The Head Of State, President Paul Biya of Cameroon has signed a decree extending the mandate of municipal councilors  to the 29 of January 2020.The presidential decree extending the mandate of municipal councilors is dated Monday July 15, 2019.The municipal councilors were elected in September 2013.This is the second time that municipal councilors are benefiting from an extension of their mandate.The first extension was in July 2018.

Many houses have been razed and livestock lost in Santa Njong, a village in Santa sub division of the North West Region Of Cameroon in an attack by those whom eye witnesses say were heavily armed men dressed in military wears.Report from a source in Santa say, well armed men stormed the village at about 4am- Monday firing indiscriminately, before setting some houses ablaze. It is still not clear what caused the raid but according to Daniel, a teacher who was in the village on vacation, the raid cannot be unconnected with the ongoing war in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon. The proprietor of  AL Moubarack Naturalist  clinic situated at S-bend mile 3,Nkwen Bamenda has been abducted by yet to be identified gun men. Dr. AL Moubarack was abducted on the night of Sunday breaking Monday July 15,2019 at his Foncha Street residence. Sources closed to the family have indicated to  DRAY INFO that, a call was made and the abductors said they were waiting for their ‘’commander’’. University of Bamenda students lament. The student population of Bambili, Tubah sub division of the North West Region of Cameroon has lashed out at Eneo, Cameroon’s lone electricity distributing company for making it hard for them to study without electricity. The students were speaking to DRAY INFO recently in Bambili as they lamented the unstable electricity supply for about 3 months making it hard for them to read, print out soft copies of their notes, run photocopies, and many other electricity related functions within the university community. The population of the Below Foncha , A neighborhood in Nkwen,  Bamenda 3 sub division of the North West Region of Cameroon has finally breathe a sigh of relieve following the discarding of the lifeless body of a young man who was  shot by yet to be identified individuals on the night of Thursday. Sources around the Below Foncha neighborhood say, they heard gun shots on the night of Thursday breaking Friday July 12, 2019 only to get up Friday morning to the gruesome discovery of the lifeless body of a boy whose identity is yet to be established.
