FEHACU 2021: Mayor Fongu, Fon Azehfor III Round Off Festival On "Mourning Sunday" With Baptists

By Raymond Dingana The Mayor of Bamenda III Council and the Fon of Nkwen have joined Christians of the Cameroon Baptist Convention CBC on the last day of the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) to mourn and pray for those who have died and their families in the current armed conflict in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon. At The Nkwen Baptist Church Fongu Cletus Tanwe and HRM Fon Azehfor III prayed with Christians of the Nkwen Baptist Church on Sunday 28 November 2021 declared by the Executive President of the CBC as Mourning Sunday. FEHACU 2021: How Inclusive?

 By Raymond Dingana The question on whether the maiden edition of the Festival Heritage of Arts and Cultures organised by the Bamenda III Council under Mayor Fongu Cletus Tanwie was inclusive is what has animated the event ever since it was launched. At first sight, one would think FEHACU 2021 was only for abled body men and women. However, after visiting the stands, that thought of the event not being inclusive started fading out as Persons With Disabilities, PWDs are powerfully represented.  In one of the stands seated a pretty young lady, fair in complexion by name Fonju Constance Efuet. She was busy marking the 'Toghu,' an out fit that has captured the world thanks to its beautiful colors that charm people making it difficult for them to resist buying one for themselves. FEHACU 2021:My Time In The Power House Of The Bamenda III Cultural Jamboree

  By Raymond Dingana The maiden edition of the Festival Heritage of Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) is curruently on in Nkwen, Bamenda III Municipality, North West Region of Cameroon. The Festival jamboree which started on Friday November 26,2021 is being organized by the Bamenda III Council with Fongu Cletus Tanwie at the helm. If there is one thing that has caught my attention so far on day one this maiden edition of (FEHACU), it is the power house that takes care of gastronomy. FEHACU Power House Were Traditional Dishes Are Served When i alighted from the cab at Center Bolt in Nkwen and started heading towards the Nkwen Fon's Palace, saliva started gathering in my mouth caused by the aroma emanating from the the FEHACU power house. I did not need a guide to take me there, the aroma was enough guide for me reason why I found my self on the left side of the palace from Center Bolt Junction. It has not been easy paying for my medications. FEHACU 2021: Beauty Pageant Contestant offers brooms to venue cleaners

By Raymond Dingana One of the contestants of the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) beauty pageant has offered brooms to youths who turnout for the cleaning of Nkwen Fon's Palace being the venue of the maiden edition of the festival. Tita Princess Wanki 19yrs Studying Business Manaagent at the University of Bamenda stormed the palace in the morning of 22 November 2021 with bundles of brooms for those who came to clean the palace. While distributing the brooms, Princess said she was motivated by the need to keep the festival venue clean so that visitors will be comfortable while at the Nkwen Fon's Palace. According to Princes Tita, this can contribute to making her winner of the Miss FEHACU contest. FEHACU 2021 D-Day -4: Bamenda III Youths Tidy Festival Site

  By Raymond Dingana They came out in their thousands  from across Bamenda III municipality to tidy the Nkwen Fon's Palace which shall be the venue of the maiden edition of the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) 2021. The youths turned out within the early hours of November 22, 2022 to keep their palace clean.  Some could be heard saying as they returned to their homes in Ndamukong, a quarter in Nkwen as as saying, "Culture no like dirty"   translated as culture dose not like dirt.
