 By Raymond Dingana The question on whether the maiden edition of the Festival Heritage of Arts and Cultures organised by the Bamenda III Council under Mayor Fongu Cletus Tanwie was inclusive is what has animated the event ever since it was launched. At first sight, one would think FEHACU 2021 was only for abled body men and women. The Festival jamboree which started on Friday November 26,2021 is being organized by the Bamenda III Council with Fongu Cletus Tanwie at the helm. By Raymond Dingana One of the contestants of the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) beauty pageant has offered brooms to youths who turnout for the cleaning of Nkwen Fon's Palace being the venue of the maiden edition of the festival. Tita Princess Wanki 19yrs Studying Business Manaagent at the University of Bamenda stormed the palace in the morning of 22 November 2021 with bundles of brooms for those who came to clean the palace. While distributing the brooms, Princess said she was motivated by the need to keep the festival venue clean so that visitors will be comfortable while at the Nkwen Fon's Palace.   By Raymond Dingana They came out in their hundreds  from across Bamenda III municipality to tidy the Nkwen Fon's Palace which shall be the venue of the maiden edition of the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) 2021. The youths turned out within the early hours of November 22, 2022 to keep their palace clean.  Some could be heard saying as they returned to their homes in Ndamukong, a quarter in Nkwen as as saying, "Culture no like dirty"   translated as culture dose not like dirt. Last Thursday November 18,2021, the Palace of Ba Fomantum, a sub chief in Naaka Village along the Enugu-Ekok stretch of road, few kilometers away from the town of Bamenda was attacked by those eye witnesses say were Cameroon soldiers. The palace was razed including many other houses around the area. Many traditional artifact were lost in the flames.
