The Accident Scene At Up Station  By Raymond Dingana  Passengers of a 70 seater bus that left Bamenda on the evening of Thursday, April 24, 2025, will forever be grateful to a tree that saved their lives along Station Road. The bus, operated by a Bamenda based transport agency, was prevented from plunging off the steep hill thanks to a one of the eucalyptus tree planted beside the road. As the vehicle ascended Station Hill, it suffered a breakdown and began to roll backward. Miraculously, one of the trees along that stretch stopped the bus from tumbling down the cliff. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident. Editorial Comment What transpired on Station Hill that night serves as a stark warning to the authorities in Bamenda that they must take intentional steps to ensure the safety of the population. He has been using the expertise passed down from his ancestors to treat individuals with bone issues. Many have benefited from his services at little to no cost, as he is not supposed to charge patients, following the tradition of those before him. Agho Oliver Bamenju, has extended a hand of fellowship  to his constituents by paying the hospital bills of all nursing mothers and new born babies at the Bambili hospital. This gesture was part of his courtesy visit to Tubah to evaluate the progress of road construction works undertaken by the Tubah council. During his visit to the hospital, Hon.
