Bamenda: Kum Henry Transforming DDR To Production Center
NW Regional Coordinator Of DDR Receiving The Day Old Chicks From CDENO By Raymond Dingana The Regional Coordinator of the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Center (DDR) Bamenda says making the place productive and comfortable for the ex-fighters of the armed conflict in the two Anglophone Regions of Cameroon is his top priority for now. Kum Henry Ichu was speaking Friday 15 July 2022 after empowering the center with 5000 day-old chicks and bags of fowl feed where he also indicated that he wants to transform DDR Bamenda in to a Production Center. The 5000 Day-Old Chicks Already At The Center The aim of the donation according to Kum Henry Ichu is to make life worth living for those at the center and to empower the former fighters so that they can have something doing and batter take care of themselves. He said after learning, it is time to engage in practicals. The children at the center also need to have a good life by engaging in activities that can fetch them some cash in
