Anglophone Crisis: Armed Men Kill Pregnant Woman In A Bar In Nkwen

By Raymond Dingana A pregnant woman and a man have been killed by armed man in Nkwen, Bamenda III sub division on the night of  Saturday breaking sunday August 8,  2021. As narrated by an eye witness, the two men armed with locally frabicated guns stormed a drinking spot at the A2 street in Nkwen, Bamenda lll council area. "They asked the bar owner to follow them, an order he rejected but rather grabbed one of the attackers while calling for help", the eyewitness said. The pregnant wife we were told, could not stand aside and watch her husband being taken away. She pushed foward to grip the husband from the gunmen. He said however that hope is not lost as the opposition party is waxing strong, has the key to unlock the deadlock surrounding the drawn-out conflict, and can resolve the socio-political crisis in 100 days after taking over power. “The SDF is the best placed political party to usher in a political solution to the Anglophone crisis. The kids received back to school kits comprising books, pens, pencils, rulers and sharpeners that will help prepare them for the start of the school year This was Tuesday August 8, 2023 during a back to school campaign that brought together children from Ntankah, Ntamulung and Mulang who have been displaced by the Anglophone crisis from the seven divisions of the North West Region of Cameroon. During the recent distribution of Humanitarian Aids to Internally Displaced Persons at the esplanade of the NW governor’s office  by the Bamenda Regional Center for Humanitarian Assistance, many IDPs called on government to ensure that, peace returns saying food is not really what they need but Peace. Though they appreciated and thanked government for trying to see in to it that, they live a normal life, they called on government to embrace the path to peace so that, they can return to their communities and that food is not really what they are in need of. This lady is an internally displaced person from Njikwa. She says she and her family came to Bamenda after their house was razed to the ground. T hey have been given 30 days to reconsider their actions, turn away from their evil ways and embrace profitable activities to better their lives. This was made known during a workshop to present the result of a research on the impact of  the Anglopone Crisis on the North West Population, Saturday April 24, 2021 in Bamenda. Going by the survey conducted by Charmers Media and Communication Consults (CHAMECC) in Mezam Devision, 96 percent of the population expressed disatiafaction with government's handling of the current war ravaging the north west and south west regions of the country.     Food Items To Be Destined For Needy Persons In the NWR By Raymond Dingana The socio-political upheavals degrading lives in Cameroon's Anglophone North West and South West Regions has not ceased to produce vulnerable persons in this crisis hit parts of the country. The situation is so bad that many can't afford a three square meal per day, not to talk of adequate medical care, among others. As end of year festivities come knocking, one need not a soothsayer to be told that persons who have been facing challenges through out the year would surely face same during this period of feasting. Guzang is a village in the Anglophone North West Region of Cameroon, one of the hardest hit areas in the Anglophone arm conflict. Government, Separatist Ban On Transportation, Who Suffers More?

By Raymond Dingana Bike riders in Bali Nyonga alongside other transporters and users of the road linking Bamenda and Bali of the restive North West Region of Cameroon say, the ban on the circulation of bikes by the Senior Divisional Officer for Mezam, Simon Emile Mooh and a counter ban on all vehicles using that stretch by separatist fighters means their sufferings are not ending anytime soon. They have frowned at the belligerents in the ongoing crisis rocking the two restive Regions of Cameroon for bringing unbearable pain on them making life more stressful.
