After Attending Major National Dialogue, Diaspora Delegate Is Arrested.

One of those who flew to Cameroon from Germany to attend the Major National Dialogue that took place in Yaounde-Cameroon has been arrested by security officials in Yaounde. Though the circumstance surrounding his arrest is still not clear, sources DrayInfos could not independently confirm, indicated that, Paddy Asanga as he is popularly called fell in the hands of security officials for allegedly taking pictures at the Kondengui Maximum Security Prison Tuesday October 08, 2019. Sources say, Paddy Asanga was visiting the prison when he decided to take pictures not knowing taking pictures without authorization was prohibited.
Paddy Asanga is a Federalist based in Germany, a militant of the Social Democratic Front Political Party, the SDF. This explains why, the SDF party in Berlin Wednesday issued a press release calling for his immediate release: “The Executive Committee of the SDF in Germany met in an urgently meeting in Berlin this day to demand the Immediate and Unconditional release of Paddy Asanga. The Regional Secretary for Communication and Information and SDF Delegate from Germany for the Grand National Dialogue has been arrested in Yaounde under unclear circumstances. SDF German reiterates her total support for comrade Asanga”. 
There has been no comment from the government of Cameroon as to the reason why Paddy Asanga was arrested and where he is being held. It should be noted that, before the commencement of the just ended Grand National Dialogue that took place in Yaounde from the 30th to the 05th of October 2019, the spokes person of the MND, George Ewane said, no representative from the Diaspora to Cameroon for the Major National Dialogue would be arrested.

Road Accident Leaves Two Persons Dead Along Bamenda-Bambili Stretch

Chattered Vehicles As A Result Of Accident  By Raymond Dingana Township taxi drivers in Bamenda are still in shock following the death of one of theirs who died alongside his passenger at the Mile 6 neighborhood in Nkwen, on the Bamenda-Bambili road, Friday March 15, 2024. The accident that didn't only take away lives but caused enormous damages on the two vehicles involved has been attributed to over speeding. "The black private car was on top speed when it suddenly found itself on the other said of the road colliding with the taxi. The occupants of the private owned vehicle fled the scene after the accident. The vehicle was coming from the Mile 6 direction while the taxi was heading towards Bamenda, " explained a witness. The passenger whose only name drayinfos got as Tigwe died on the spot, while the driver of the Starlet vehicle died later at the Regional Hospital in Bamenda.   Cross Section Of Protesting Crowd At Up Station  By Raymond Dingana The early hours of Thursday April 4,2024 was a tensed one at the Bamenda I council area following the stabbing to death of the young man identified as Junior Awazi popularly known as BJ by a uniform officer in civilian attire. The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday breaking Thursday April 4 in a beer parlor at Up Station, Bamenda I Council area. The population was out in the streets expressing their grievances demanding justice for the slain young man. " It all started when the uniform officer in civilian attire wounded a girl's hand after she rejected his love advances.
