The Sun Has Risen In Chomba, Fon Asanji Is Back

 Raymond Dingana Not even the burning heat from the sun could disperse the sons and daughters of Chomba, a village in Bamemda II Sun Division of the North West Region of Cameroon who came out in their thousands to receive the one they called their new king. To them, his coming was indicative of the fact that the sun has risen in the land and it was time to celebrate. Before the new Fon came out, the Traditional Security of the village known as  'Lali'  answered present at the event ground to purify the place and take care of ill intentioned minds for the security of the population. By Raymond Dingana The organizers of the Yaounde 'Festival Ensemble' have placed the promotion of Cultural Diversity and Local Production at the heart of the Cultural Fiesta coming up in the days ahead. Speaking at a press conference recently to explain the idea of the cultural festival in Yaounde recently, the promoter, Tambong D Kum said the aim is to make available a platform where cultural diversity and local production will be boosted. We are providing them a platform where lover of arts and culture can digitise their area of specialisation, Kum explained. By Raymond Dingana The Miss FEHACU 2021 Beauty Pageant Contest that took place on day one of the maiden edition of the Festival Heritage Arts and Cultures has produced its first ever Miss FEHACU. She is Asah Nadia Sirri, 20 years of age. She was voted Miss FEHACU 2021 after challenging five other contestants in the race to the top. They were all tested on the basis of Expression, General Nkowledge, Cultural Projects to be realized among others. By Raymond Dingana The Mayor of Bamenda III Council and the Fon of Nkwen have joined Christians of the Cameroon Baptist Convention CBC on the last day of the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) to mourn and pray for those who have died and their families in the current armed conflict in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon. FEHACU 2021:My Time In The Power House Of The Bamenda III Cultural Jamboree

  By Raymond Dingana The maiden edition of the Festival Heritage of Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) is curruently on in Nkwen, Bamenda III Municipality, North West Region of Cameroon. The Festival jamboree which started on Friday November 26,2021 is being organized by the Bamenda III Council with Fongu Cletus Tanwie at the helm. If there is one thing that has caught my attention so far on day one this maiden edition of (FEHACU), it is the power house that takes care of gastronomy. FEHACU Power House Were Traditional Dishes Are Served When i alighted from the cab at Center Bolt in Nkwen and started heading towards the Nkwen Fon's Palace, saliva started gathering in my mouth caused by the aroma emanating from the the FEHACU power house. FEHACU 2021: Beauty Pageant Contestant offers brooms to venue cleaners

By Raymond Dingana One of the contestants of the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) beauty pageant has offered brooms to youths who turnout for the cleaning of Nkwen Fon's Palace being the venue of the maiden edition of the festival. Tita Princess Wanki 19yrs Studying Business Manaagent at the University of Bamenda stormed the palace in the morning of 22 November 2021 with bundles of brooms for those who came to clean the palace. While distributing the brooms, Princess said she was motivated by the need to keep the festival venue clean so that visitors will be comfortable while at the Nkwen Fon's Palace. According to Princes Tita, this can contribute to making her winner of the Miss FEHACU contest. FEHACU 2021 D-Day -4: Bamenda III Youths Tidy Festival Site

  By Raymond Dingana They came out in their thousands  from across Bamenda III municipality to tidy the Nkwen Fon's Palace which shall be the venue of the maiden edition of the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) 2021. The youths turned out within the early hours of November 22, 2022 to keep their palace clean.  Some could be heard saying as they returned to their homes in Ndamukong, a quarter in Nkwen as as saying, "Culture no like dirty"   translated as culture dose not like dirt. Raymond Dingana Finalists of the maiden edition of the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) beauty pageant are now known.  The finalists emerged from an inclusive highly competitive contest at the Nkwen Fon's Palace on Wednesday 10 November 2021. "We are happy with our girls who summoned courage to be part of this maiden edition of Miss FEHACU. Personally I feel happy with the fact that most of them are proposing project that will connect young people to their culture. This is the very essence of our festival. As a council, we are committed to make sure that those who shall win will have all the support to carry on their projects.
