Latest From The Bafoussam Landslide: 4 Pregnant Women Among 42 Corpses Retrieved.

Latest information from the Bafoussam landslide is indicating that, more bodies have been pulled out of  debris of the landslide that occurred on the night of Monday breaking Tuesday  October 29, 2019 at about 10PM. Sources on the ground are indicating that, closed to ten more bodies have been retrieved putting the death toll at 42 from 37 as earlier reported.Ten women including four pregnant women, eleven boys, and fifteen girls between the ages of six and fifteen were among the victims of the landslide when nature turned its ugly face on the inhabitants of Ngouachie, in Bafoussam III, West Region of Cameroon on the night of Monday breaking Tuesday, October 29, 2019.
Reports also say, the Minister of Territorial Administration, Atanga Nji Paul and that of Housing and Urban Development, Celestine Ketcha paid a visit to survivors of the landslide at the Bafoussam Regional Hospital where they are being treated.
The Minister of Decentralisation and Local Development, George Elanga Obam during the visit announced the disbursement of 25million FCFA to take care of victims of the landslide while Minister Celestine Ketcha announced a crisis meeting for Wednesday October 30th, 2019 at 2PM.
