Battle Against Covid-19: NACDA Creates Anti Covid-19 Task Forces.

The Ndong Awing Cultural and Development Association-NACDA have created Anti- Covid-19 task forces to better contain the spread of the Virus in Awing village. The Task Forces are charged with making sure that, all the measures put in place to build a firm wall against the Virus are respected by all and sundry.
The Funeral Task Force will make sure that, not more than 50 persons answer present at a funeral and the majority of the less than fifty mourners must come from the immediate family. The force will also see in to it that, no formal refreshment ceremony takes place and that, only packages are distributed  to mourners to take home, obligatory wearing of face mask, Cleaning and disinfecting of the funeral ground among others.
The Travel Task force will insure that, no one from regions consider to be the epicentre of Covid-19 enters the village, vehicles will transport just one in front and two behind, bikes to transport just one at a time, ensure that, passengers with respiratory illness are encouraged to stay home and seek medical help, just to name but these.
During the launch of the fight against Covid-19 at the Awing Fon's Palace recently by NACDA in what has been described as a novelty in the fight against Covid-19 by a village Development Association, the national president of NACDA, Mr. Tanyi Christian handed over thousands of face masks to be distributed to villagers, Ten Thermo Flash Machines for body temperature and many others.
NACDA President, Mr Tanyi Christian said the village Development Association is joining the fight against Covid-19 because, development is for the living.
“As a village development association, we do development for people that are living. Consequently, a situation like this if facing the nation and Awing is not immune from being infected, so we need to do everything to protect the village. Our theory is zero tolerance to anything that will put the village at risk. That is why measures have been taken; you can see the equipment that have been acquired to make sure that we do everything in line with WHO and national policies to prevent the spread of the pandemic".

Thermo flash Machines Donated By NACDA To The Health Family In Awing.
Health experts also answered present to educate the people on what Covid-19 is all about and how it can be prevented. The Awing Solidarity Home was also announced. The Home will temporally accommodate suspected Covid -19 cases pending the arrival of health personnel.

Fon Fozoh II of Awing told DrayInfos that, the village traditional whip will be used to ensure that, all the measures put in place by NACDA and the village Traditional Council are respected in order to block the Virus from finding a fertile ground in Awing Village.
