 By Raymond Dingana

Students and Teachers of Progressive Comprehensive High School, PCHS Bamenda are still in shock following the discovery of the lifeless body of Mr. Ibrahim, a teacher in the school. The body was found in a stream in mile 4, Bamenda III Sub Division in the early hours of Monday August 10, 2020 and buried Tuesday August 11 in his native Baba I, in Nkoketunjia Division of the NWR of Cameroon. Contrary to reports that, Mr. Ibrahim was killed by gun men, a source in mile four says, he had as accident:

The incident happened in my quarter and I was one of the first to arrive the scene. It was the man's child that discovered the bike in a stream in mile four without knowing the bike was on his was on his father. They only realized the bike was on him after they retrieved it. He was never shot. Even the Gendarmerie official who was at the scene said so, asking us if we know what a bullet is adding that, his head would have been shattered. He may have fallen hitting his head and tearing his mouth. The images on social media with the bike standing under a bridge were taking after the bike had been retrieved before the body discovered. He had his mobile phone and the sum of about 55000FCFA on him. If he was actually attacked by thieves, those things including the bike would have been taken away”. The source said.
