Yaounde 'Ensemble Festival' : Cultural Diversity, Others To Be Promoted

The organizers of the Yaounde 'Festival Ensemble' have placed the promotion of Cultural Diversity and Local Production at the heart of the Cultural Fiesta coming up in the days ahead.

Speaking at a press conference recently to explain the idea of the cultural festival in Yaounde recently, the promoter, Tambong D Kum said the aim is to make available a platform where cultural diversity and local production will be boosted.
We are providing them a platform where lover of arts and culture can digitise their area of specialisation, Kum explained.
Unfolding with the theme "digital future for our arts, our culture, our local production'', activities like:
– A cultural carnival,
– An exhibition fair,
– Musical displays,
– Quizz, and games for children, all with the aim of promoting living together will be exhibited.

One of the major innovations this year Kum said, will be an interesting financial package to talented artists during the festival. Some artists will also see their complet albums produced.

Mayor of the Yaounde IV Council, Virginie Ngah And Tambong D Kum At The Press Conference

Present at press conference was the Deputy Mayor of the Yaounde IV Council, Virginie Ngah. She said,
Our council area habours the highest number of IDPs of the Anglophone crisis in Yaounde, the end of year period is usually a loose period for students who are often left on their own and exposed to hard drugs and other societal ills. The coming of this festival is good news to the council as it will not only occupy the youths of Yaounde IV, but will give them an opportunity to sell their talents to the rest of the world.
Anti covid-19 barrier measures have also been put in place by the organizers of the festival at the esplanade of the Yaounde IV Council, host of the event.

They shall also be special screening and vaccination campaigns through out the event.

Security despositions have also been taken to ensure the safety of the over 5000 participants expected daily at the festival ground.


Worth noting is the fact that the festival is organized by Deekay House Entertainment. It will go a long way to boost economic activities in the country.
