A young man suspected of digging up the grave of late Mr.Yufela Gilbert who before his death was the District Head of Elctions Cameroon also known as ELECAM has been arrested by forces of law and order.

This was after he successfully dug up the grave of late Yufela Gilbert at the All Saint Parish Bayele Nkwen  Cemetry over the weekend and harvested the arms.

An ELECAM staff whose names we are keeping for security reasons confirmed to drayinfos.com that the tomb was actually that of his colleague.

He narrated to us what he said was the version of the story he got: 

It would appear the act was committed in the night of 15 breaking 16 April. The guy from what we are getting was apprehended Sunday morning on his way to meet his clients somewhere around old town. He confessed and led security forces to the grave yard Saturday morning.

Many have described his action as "denying the Mr.Yufela eternal rest after he was killed by gun men and his car taken away.

If someone dies and is buried and someone goes there to exhume his body for what ever reasons,that is denying the departed eternal rest,

 said sixtus,another witness familiar With the story. 

Mr.Yufela Gilbert was one of the two ELECAM officials killed in less than 24hrs.Yufela was killed by gun men on Tuesday January 17,2023 at about 8:PM around his residence at the Foncha neighbourhood in Bamenda.

His car was taken away and later abandoned along the Bamenda-Santa road. It is still not clear what pushed the young man to exhume the remains of the dead man.

He is currently helping security forces in their investigations.

Chattered Vehicles As A Result Of Accident  By Raymond Dingana Township taxi drivers in Bamenda are still in shock following the death of one of theirs who died alongside his passenger at the Mile 6 neighborhood in Nkwen, on the Bamenda-Bambili road, Friday March 15, 2024. The accident that didn't only take away lives but caused enormous damages on the two vehicles involved has been attributed to over speeding. "The black private car was on top speed when it suddenly found itself on the other said of the road colliding with the taxi. The occupants of the private owned vehicle fled the scene after the accident. The vehicle was coming from the Mile 6 direction while the taxi was heading towards Bamenda, " explained a witness.   Cross Section Of Protesting Crowd At Up Station  By Raymond Dingana The early hours of Thursday April 4,2024 was a tensed one at the Bamenda I council area following the stabbing to death of the young man identified as Junior Awazi popularly known as BJ by a uniform officer in civilian attire. The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday breaking Thursday April 4 in a beer parlor at Up Station, Bamenda I Council area. The population was out in the streets expressing their grievances demanding justice for the slain young man. " It all started when the uniform officer in civilian attire wounded a girl's hand after she rejected his love advances.
