PCC Pastor Struck By Lightning Laid To Rest In Bamenda

A Pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon who was struck to death by lightening in Bui Division of the North West Region of Cameroon has been interred.

Rev. Abeh Ngangieh who was serving at Mendzeh Parish in Bui Division before his unfortunate demise was laid to rest at the Presbyterain Church cemetry Up Station Bamenda, Friday March 31 in the presence of family members, his colleagues pastors,Christians and other sympathizers. 

Amongst those who attended Rev. Abeh's burial ceremonny was Pastor Ekolle Melvis,Parish Pastor for Tatum Parish in Bui Presbytry who said the deceased was a colleague with whom she had a close working relationship with, 

The late Rev.Abeh Ngangieh was a very close collaborator. Our parishes are not for from each other so we worked in close collaboration. He was someone i could easily reach out to when ever I have problems or events in my Parrish and he will do same when he has issues in his area. Losing him under such circumstances has realy brought us somuch pain. We ar still trying to understand the mystery that has happened,

 Pastor Ekolle Melvis  indicated.

Also present was Ewang Okay Joseph,Parish Pastor of Jakiri still in Bui who encouraged the family of the deceased to depend on God in this trying moments and avoid the blame game.  

To the family I say we trust God. We can't ask him questions because he says that he is the one who holds the keys to the house and when opens no one can close and when he closes no one can open. May we just accept that it is the will of God that he went the way he was supposed to go. We should not accused any corners and if we carry out this blame game it is not going to help us in any way. They should just accept that the will of God has been done, 

said the Rev.man of God.

Rev.Abeh was struck to death by lightening on Wednesday  March 22,2023 in Bui under what many have said were unclear circumstances. 

He leaves behind a wife,children and others to mourn him.

Road Accident Leaves Two Persons Dead Along Bamenda-Bambili Stretch

Chattered Vehicles As A Result Of Accident  By Raymond Dingana Township taxi drivers in Bamenda are still in shock following the death of one of theirs who died alongside his passenger at the Mile 6 neighborhood in Nkwen, on the Bamenda-Bambili road, Friday March 15, 2024. The accident that didn't only take away lives but caused enormous damages on the two vehicles involved has been attributed to over speeding. "The black private car was on top speed when it suddenly found itself on the other said of the road colliding with the taxi. The occupants of the private owned vehicle fled the scene after the accident. The vehicle was coming from the Mile 6 direction while the taxi was heading towards Bamenda, " explained a witness.   Cross Section Of Protesting Crowd At Up Station  By Raymond Dingana The early hours of Thursday April 4,2024 was a tensed one at the Bamenda I council area following the stabbing to death of the young man identified as Junior Awazi popularly known as BJ by a uniform officer in civilian attire. The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday breaking Thursday April 4 in a beer parlor at Up Station, Bamenda I Council area. The population was out in the streets expressing their grievances demanding justice for the slain young man. " It all started when the uniform officer in civilian attire wounded a girl's hand after she rejected his love advances.
