Gov.Okalia Bilai Asked Separatists, 'What Have You Gained Since You Started Killing?'

The Governor of the South West Region of Cameroon has asked Separatists fighters to say what they have gained ever since they started killing their own.

Governor Bernard Okalia Bilai put forward the question at the Centenary Stadium in Limbe, Wednesday August 9,2023 during the public funeral organized in honor of the five Delegates from Ndian who were kidnapped, killed and buried by those government sources say were separatist fighters.

These are trophies of separatists. What have they gain since they started killing and destroying their own? It is ironical that those who were pretending to be fighting to protect the lives of their people have demonstrated several times and have done it again today that they are simply criminals holding he population of the South West  Region hostage,

indicated the governor. 

Governor Bernard Okalia Bilai also said President Paul Biya has taken every necessary measures to solve the problems that were raised.

He pointed out that the organization of the major National Dialogue gave birth to institutions that can satisfy both individual and collective political ambitions.

Instead of taking advantage of this, sons and daughters of this region continue to massacre their brothers and sisters in the name of a so called political struggle.

According to government sources, the five delegates were killed and buried by Separatists fighters in Ndian under the command of self-proclaimed general named ‘ten kobo’ whom a repentant separatist fighter said died from bullet wounds long ago.


Remains Of Victims Being Taken For Burial

Their bodies were exhumed recently thanks to information gotten from one of the repentant Amba fighters who is also reported to have led security forces to where the victims were buried.



Anti war campaigners have also not stop preaching the gospel of what they describe as a genuine dialogue which they believe is the best way out of the seven year old conflict that has brought nothing but agony to the population.

Road Accident Leaves Two Persons Dead Along Bamenda-Bambili Stretch

Chattered Vehicles As A Result Of Accident  By Raymond Dingana Township taxi drivers in Bamenda are still in shock following the death of one of theirs who died alongside his passenger at the Mile 6 neighborhood in Nkwen, on the Bamenda-Bambili road, Friday March 15, 2024. The accident that didn't only take away lives but caused enormous damages on the two vehicles involved has been attributed to over speeding. "The black private car was on top speed when it suddenly found itself on the other said of the road colliding with the taxi. The occupants of the private owned vehicle fled the scene after the accident. The vehicle was coming from the Mile 6 direction while the taxi was heading towards Bamenda, " explained a witness. The passenger whose only name drayinfos got as Tigwe died on the spot, while the driver of the Starlet vehicle died later at the Regional Hospital in Bamenda. Bamenda: Population Protests Killing Of Civilian By Uniform Officer

  Cross Section Of Protesting Crowd At Up Station  By Raymond Dingana The early hours of Thursday April 4,2024 was a tensed one at the Bamenda I council area following the stabbing to death of the young man identified as Junior Awazi popularly known as BJ by a uniform officer in civilian attire. The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday breaking Thursday April 4 in a beer parlor at Up Station, Bamenda I Council area. The population was out in the streets expressing their grievances demanding justice for the slain young man. " It all started when the uniform officer in civilian attire wounded a girl's hand after she rejected his love advances.
