Sudden Death Of SDF Bali District Chairman Raises More Questions

Late SDF District Chairman For Bali, Babila Moses

The circumstances surrounding the death of the District Chairman of the Social Democratic Front SDF for Bali,Babila Moses popularly referred to as "Njanga Bang" has continued to raise questions as the population awaits the outcome of official investigations, that is one has been launched.

According to information gathered, the chairman attended a funeral at the Jam Jam neighborhood in Bali Nyonga, Mezam Division, North West Region of Cameroon on Saturday June 27,2026.

He left the funeral ground at about 7 00 p.m heading home to Mbofung, a village with a 3rd class chief in Bali Nyonga. Hours later, a woman found him lying motionless on the ground, with his motor bike resting on top of him.

She raised an alarm alerting the community, many came out despite the heavy rains that evening, and managed to rush Babila Moses to the Bali District Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The incident has sparked different opinions within the community. While some people believe he may have fallen from the motorcycle, the position in which he was found has raised doubts about whether it was a simple accident.

Some people have also questioned the condition at the suspected accident scene,saying there was no obvious signs of the ground that pointed to a crash. These observations have raised speculation what may have actually happened to him.

However, no official report has confirmed the cause of death, and authorities have not announced any findings.At thus stage, it remains unclear whether the incident was an accident or involved other circumstances.

Given the unusual circumstances surrounding the incident, sources told drayinfos.com that loved ones initially believed Babila Moses was only unconscious and would regain consciousness. Because of this, his body was not immediately placed in the mortuary refrigerator.

Those hopes were shattered on Sunday morning when there was no sign of recovery, confirming the painful reality that Babila Moses had passed away.

Family members, friend, the SDF family are all calling for thorough and transparent investigation to establish the truth.

Until investigators released their findings, the exact cause of the chairman's death remains unknown, leaving many unanswered questions and a community waiting for answers.
