'Festival Ensemble' To Animate Yaounde Come December

All roads will be leading to the nation’s capital Yaounde from December 17 to January 2, 2022 for a come together dubbed "Festival Ensemble" loosely translated as Festival for Togetherness.

It is being organised by DeekayHouse Entertainment Company Limited in partnership with the Yaounde 6 Council to run for 17 days.

The festival is meant to enhance living together and harmony among citizens during the festive period.






Invited to benefit from this festival are young and upcoming artists. Organisers have made available a cash prize of 1 million FCFA for creative minds in the musical world. Winners would also have a complete music alum produced for free.

When the festival goes underway in December, the population will be treated to music competition, dance exhibitions, visual art, exhibition of various goods and services, a beauty contest.

There would also be a merry-go-round for kids and a culinary art contest. Organisers say the aim is to celebrate the birth of Christ and enter a new year together. There are also amazing prizes to be won by the population.

Sama Hilda  By Raymond Dingana Sama Hilda, business woman, and a mother of two was kidnapped near her Mile 6 residence on Tuesday, September 24, just one day after a two-week lockdown imposed by non-state armed groups seeking to reclaim what they claim is the lost sovereignty of a country they call Ambazonia. According to investigations conducted by a team of Drayinfos reporters, Sama Hilda maintained communication with her husband and other family members while in captivity. The armed men opened these communication channels, demanding a ransom of over 2 million FCFA. Bamenda Acid Attack Victim Breathes Her Last

  Late Dr Bongka Vivian  By Raymond Dingana Bongka Vivian, after a courageous battle for her life, has taken her last breath. She joined the heavenly choir on Monday, October 28, 2024, in Douala. Bongka Vivian was the Head of the Department (HOD) of Bilingual Letters at the Higher Teachers Training College (HTTC) of the University of Bamenda. She was a victim of an acid attack perpetrated by her husband. Her last journey on planet earth began on Saturday, October 12, 2024, when her husband, Ebai Elias, poured acid on her at the Alahlieh neighborhood in Nkwen, Bamenda III council area before taking his own life by drinking some of it, and died on the spot. Vivian had previously taken a break from her marital home due to her husband's abusive behavior. On that fateful Saturday, she called him to see if he was home, as she wanted to collect some personal belongings.
