Woman Detained for Incest
A case of incest has emerged in the Mile 6 neighborhood of Nkwen. A woman has been accused of having sexual relations with her son, prompting neighbors to report the matter to local authorities. The woman, in her 50s, was arrested for further investigation, though it remains unclear if her son, in his late 20s, is also in custody. Many attribute the incident to cultism, given the luxurious lifestyle both suspects reportedly lead.
Woman Collapses and Dies in Mbingo
A nursing mother collapsed and died on Monday in Mbingo while with her baby. Sources indicate she may have had pre-existing health issues. A witness described the incident occurring near a military post at Meghe. After alerting the military, they rushed the woman to the hospital, but the vehicle ran out of fuel en route, and she tragically passed away before further assistance could be rendered. The deceased was later taken to the mortuary.
